Instructions for use and safety instructions

Before your little adventurer takes to the waves, please take a moment to read this guide. Correct fit is the key to a water vest being a truly secure support.

USE ONLY UNDER THE CONSTANT SUPERVISION OF AN ADULT.
The vest is a swimming aid, not a life jacket.
Always make sure that the selected size corresponds to the age and weight category of your child.

How to put on a vest correctly?

Inserting into the vest: Carefully place the child in the vest and place the soft neck support around the child's head.
Fastening: Fasten the front zipper and make sure it is pulled all the way up and secured securely. The zipper cover must be closed before entering the water.
Secure the strap: Unfasten the buckle of the safety strap, pass it between the child's legs, fasten it again and tighten it so that the vest fits comfortably and does not ride up.
Removal: Unzip the zipper cover, unzip the zipper itself, and carefully remove the child's hands from the vest.

Learning to swim and working with floats
- Go full throttle: On first use, leave all buoyancy support (all floats) in the vest.
- First steps in the water: Once the baby is in the water, hold his hands until he finds his balance and starts to move naturally.
- Gradually reducing buoyancy: As the child gains confidence and begins to learn swimming movements, you can gradually remove the lighter buoyancy elements (floats) from the back.
- Caution: Decreasing the number of floats reduces the level of protection. Only do this if the child is already making progress in swimming. The goal is for the child to naturally move into the correct swimming position.
Maintenance: Wash the vest only by hand in clean, cold water. Do not iron or tumble dry.

Ecological disposal
- Packaging: Please dispose of packaging materials in the appropriate recycling containers.
- Has the product expired? If the vest has already expired, destroy it (e.g. by cutting it up) so that it cannot be used by other people and thus avoid the risk of an accident with a still not very safe device.
