Nikwax Waterproofing for Down Clothing Down Proof 300 ml

Nikwax Down Proof is an impregnation agent for down clothing and down sleeping bags. Thanks to the fact that Nikwax products are water-based, they are very easy to use. When washing in a washing machine, just add them directly to the detergent dispenser or directly to the water in the case of hand washing. Down Proof increases water resistance, restores original insulating properties and breathability.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
For best results, first remove all non-washable parts and wash in Nikwax® Down Wash. It is not necessary to dry things before impregnation. Shake well before use. Respect the symbols shown on the product.
Application in the washing machine:
1. Remove all detergent residues from the detergent dispenser. 2. Put clean clothes in the washing machine. 3. Use three full caps (150ml) for one piece. 4. Set to synthetic program (40°C) and low spinning speed.Hand application (use gloves):
1. Immerse the garment in a container or sink with warm water to keep your hands in it. 2. For clothing, use three full caps (150ml) for one item and six full caps (300ml) for two items of clothing. Make sure that the clothes are completely submerged in water. For sleeping bags, use six full caps (300ml) in a bathtub where the water is approximately four centimeters deep. (Three to four season sleeping bags should be professionally cleaned). 3. Rinse, let soak for 5-10 minutes, then rinse thoroughly again. 4. Rinse in cold water until the water runs clear. Allow to drain and gently squeeze out excess water.Drying:
Hang the product in an airy environment and regularly tap and shake. If allowed by the manufacturer, tumble dry on low heat until all lint is gone.
To maintain the impregnation of down products, always use Nikwax® Down Wash Direct to clean them. Do not use detergents.
