To change the combination:

1) Set the unlocked lock to the combination 0-0-0

2) Rotate the shackle fully, push the shackle head into the lock body until you hear a click

3) With the shackle still pressed, set your new combination, release the shackle, and pull the head out by at least 1 cm.
