Construction
- Around the head, across the forehead and nape, there's double-layered material to protect your forehead from cold winds, even when sweating.
- The top of the head features a mesh ventilation panel. This ensures better moisture wicking, faster drying, and excellent ventilation.
- Large reflective Devold logo on the left side of the hat - keeps you visible in low light or darkness.
- Flat seams prevent skin irritation.
- The hat is soft to the touch and flexible - providing extreme comfort during movement.
Material
Merino wool offers excellent insulation, aiding natural body temperature regulation. It keeps you warm even when wet (no risk of catching a chill if you sweat), is odour-resistant, quick-drying, and wicks away sweat effectively. It’s an environmentally and health-friendly material: wool doesn't need frequent washing like other natural or synthetic materials.
Tencel is made from wood cellulose. It's softer than silk and 40% cooler than linen, capable of absorbing 50% more moisture than cotton. Sweat is absorbed into the Tencel fibre, transporting moisture within the fibres - no damp film on the skin.
Composition: 69% merino wool, 29% Tencel, 2% polyamide.
