UV Clothing for Water and Outdoors

Protection That Doesn't Wash Off

Children's UV clothing with a UPF 50+ rating provides the most reliable mechanical protection against UVA and UVB radiation, as it blocks 98% of harmful rays. Unlike sunscreens, it works instantly upon putting it on, and its effectiveness is not reduced by water, sweat, or friction from sand. Thanks to quick-drying materials (lycra, nylon), children won't get cold after leaving the water, making UV shirts an essential piece for every summer trip.

UV Shirts and Bodysuits for the Outdoors

Thanks to the materials used, UV clothing is highly breathable, so children do not overheat even during dry-land activities like riding a balance bike or hiking. Furthermore, if you wet the shirt on a hot day, it acts as a pleasant "air conditioner" that actively cools the child's body.

Head Protection

From the list, we also recommend legionnaire caps (caps with a neck flap) for the beach to cover the neck. The neck is a sensitive area that is exposed to long-term sunlight while building sandcastles, and along with the shoulders, it is one of the most frequently sunburned body parts. You can prevent this unpleasantness either by applying sunscreen frequently or by using exactly this type of cap.

Are You Familiar with Neoprene UV Clothing?

Neoprene UV jumpsuits or bodysuits have become a must-have gadget of recent seasons, especially for the little ones. They are made of light, soft material, so they do not restrict children's movement. A functional jumpsuit with SPF 50+ UV protection is particularly useful by the sea, where the hot sun shines but little adventurers' teeth chatter in the cold water or they get bothered by the chilly wind. They can stay in it all afternoon, both in the water and on the beach. They are also suitable for people with sun allergies or eczema, as they feature longer legs and sleeves.

Keep an Eye on Your Documents

Have you been robbed, or did you simply lose your passport? Even such an inconvenience can happen during summer travel. It is therefore a good idea to make a copy of all documents. This will greatly simplify all communication with the authorities. Although a copy cannot fully replace a document for leaving the country, it will make everything much easier when proving your identity at the embassy or consulate.

You can either take a photo of the document on your phone, save it to a secure cloud folder that you can access remotely if needed, or simply make a paper copy and place it in a different bag than your actual travel documents.
